A lean, mineral-driven Sauvignon from Waipara Valley—cooler, more refined, and estate-grown. Bright citrus, subtle herbs, and serious texture. Loads of lime zest, passionfruit and wet stone, with crisp acidity and a long, textural finish. Classic Waipara elegance—bright and pure but with depth.
Premium Kiwi quality without the Marlborough markup.

Mount Brown Estates is a family-owned winery in Waipara Valley, North Canterbury. Founded in 2003 by Tony Rutherfurd and daughter Catherine Keith, it began with the discovery of an abandoned vineyard. Today, they farm three vineyards with a focus on sustainability and full control from vine to bottle. The name honours the land and the mountain that helped shape the vineyard's microclimate-marking both a literal and symbolic foundation for the winery.
Waipara Valley, is one of New Zealand’s emerging wine regions. Sheltered by hills and mountains, it enjoys long, dry summers and wide temperature swings-perfect for flavour and natural acidity.
