About the Winery
Cantina La Salute is a distinguished Italian winery located in the Treviso wine region near the Piave River in Veneto. Established over 40 years ago, it represents the collective effort of ambitious farmers committed to revitalizing the area’s rich winemaking heritage.
The winery’s name, La Salute, is inspired by the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute in Venice—a tribute to rebirth following hardship, much like the region’s resurgence after the world wars.
Region & Vineyards
Forcola Pinot Grigio is produced in the Delle Venezie DOC, a cool, northern zone in Veneto renowned for crisp, expressive white wines. The vineyards span approximately 80 hectares, across towns including Ponte di Piave, Monastier, Zenson, Biancade, and San Polo di Piave.
Thanks to the nearby Piave River, the soils include river gravel, alluvial layers, and clay, enriched with Alpine minerals—offering excellent drainage and ideal growing conditions for Pinot Grigio.
