90 points – James Suckling: “Ripe and generous, with soft tannins and round black fruits like blackberry, blackcurrant and strawberry too.  Medium bodied with firm tannins.  Approachable now, juicy texture and structured enough to hold for a few more years.”

About the Winery
Château Rossignol is part of the Dubos family estate, overseeing 29 hectares of vines situated at the junction of the Garonne and Dordogne rivers—one of the most expansive vineyard areas in the Bordeaux appellation. With a focus on quality, the family works closely with experienced vineyard technicians to ensure that every parcel produces grapes tailored to the profile of Château Rossignol’s classic house style.

Region and Vineyards
Located in the Bordeaux Supérieur AOC, the estate benefits from a mix of clay-limestone soils, ideal for Merlot and Cabernet varietals. The vineyards enjoy a temperate climate with good exposure, producing ripe fruit with balanced acidity. The vines average 25–30 years old, offering structure and consistency across vintages.

Grape Variety
A traditional Right Bank blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, delivering ripe fruit, supple tannins, and classic Bordeaux character.

Why We Love It
This is the kind of Bordeaux that overdelivers—seriously. You get the elegance and pedigree of the Right Bank without the hefty price tag. It’s grown and crafted by a dedicated family, and you can taste that in the wine’s honesty and depth. The structure is there, the fruit is clean, and the label proudly reads Grand Vin de Bordeaux—and for once, it earns it.
