Capannelle Solare 2014, Tuscany, Italy

The Capannelle 2014 Solare is an especially polished and silky wine. From a cool and humid vintage, this 2014 fruit required more time to flesh out and take on volume in the bottle. Tasted now half a dozen years after the harvest, the wine shows a beautiful side with cassis, fresh berry, bitter almond and wild berry. The finish is smooth and subdued to a point of extreme silkiness.

About the Winery:

The winery owns 35 hectares total, 16 of which are vineyards. Here are produced 5 different wines under the supervision of winemaker Simone Monciatti, who has been taking care of each vintage since 1984. Capannelle wines are distributed in 35 countries all over the world and amongst our customers we have luxury hotels, Michelin starred restaurants and private collectors.
