From a plateau vineyard planted to several old vine massale selections, the "Outer Bergen" vineyard reserve grüner. The palate displays such a broad array of fruit flavours, ranging from citrus, lemon-lime-orange - grapefruit - to white pepper, white cannellini bean, green apple, and more in a spicy and complex ensemble that lingers on and on. This is truly excellent grüner, drinking well now, though ageable intot the latter part of the decade, or even beyond.

This a beautiful, almost regal gruner. So classy, rich, poised and detailed. All the classic aromatics are on display -peach/apricot, fresh clover honey, lemon, some paraffin, subtle white pepper. It is medium-full bodied, creamy yet fresh, lemony. The length is excellent to outstanding. Very compelling, and among the BEST gruners of recent memory.
