West Cape Howe Shiraz, Western Australia, 92 points, $20.95/bottle-- Ships in 12 bottle case

CA$253.80

This is a lovely, exciting wine from Western Australia—very well focused and harmonized. Love the penetrating fine aromas of blueberry jam, pepper, vague evergreen and background oak. Medium to full-bodied, dense and smooth, with a firm acid core. There’s even a sense of minerality on the finish. Very well made—and huge value!

Why We Love It
This Shiraz checks all the boxes: bold flavour, cool-climate lift, real vineyard pedigree—and none of the heaviness you sometimes find in Aussie reds. The fruit is pristine, the structure is on point, and the value? Outstanding. A bottle that delivers beyond its price tag every single time. This is the kind of wine we never hesitate to pour, recommend, or bring to the table.

The Winery

Founded in 1997, West Cape Howe has quickly become one of Western Australia’s most respected and popular wineries. The team has secured access to some of the oldest and most established vineyards in the state, including the historic Langton Vineyard. These mature vines, combined with a cool climate and varied soils, give them a serious edge when it comes to consistency and quality.
