Mount Brown Estate Grown Pinot Gris 2024- -94 pts- $22.95 per bottle. ( 12x750ml)
Wonderfully ripe and fragrant, the wine shows ripe apricot, rockmelon, spiced pear and rich floral aromas on the nose. The palate is equally satisfying with excellent weight and silky texture, splendidly framed by juicy acidity, finishing delicious and lingering. At its best: now to 2027

Mount Brown Estates is a family-owned winery in Waipara Valley, North Canterbury. Founded in 2003 by Tony Rutherfurd and daughter Catherine Keith, it began with the discovery of an abandoned vineyard. Today, they farm three vineyards with a focus on sustainability and full control from vine to bottle. The name honours the land and the mountain that helped shape the vineyard's microclimate-marking both a literal and symbolic foundation for the winery.
Waipara Valley, is one of New Zealand’s emerging wine regions. Sheltered by hills and mountains, it enjoys long, dry summers and wide temperature swings-perfect for flavour and natural acidity.
