Chateau Paradis, Provence, France

In between Mount Sainte Victoire and the Luberon, our 50 years old vines cover an area of198 acres in the middle of “Provence”.

Proud of their Provencal heritage, Xavier and Odile Thieblin focus on the unique “terroir” to bring   Château Paradis to its best.

Vineyard

The soil diversity brings complexity to our wines. Clay gives the wine power and aromatic structure; and chalk induces roundness, suppleness and mineral and fruity notes.

Grape varieties Red & rosé wines : Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache noir, Mourvèdre, Vieux Carignan, White wine : Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Vermentino, Clairette. The deep roots of our vines provide a strong protection against the drought, but the lack of rain combined with the “Mistral” (a hard wind coming from the North West) also avoid the diseases.

TEAM

From the beginning of Château Paradis, quality is the main goal for its young and dynamic team.

It is the passion that motivates the winemaker, Michel Tardieu and Philippe Cambie, who work earnestly to reflect the magical inheritance of our soil in the different ranges of our wines.
