Château de Lacquy is a 400 hectares estate with vineyard on 20 hectares situated in the best part of Armagnac area in Gascony (South West of France).  The estate and the mansion have belonged to the same family since 1711.  With 300 years and 11 successive generations, the estate is the oldest family-owned producer of Armagnac.
Château de Lacquy is in the heart of this “golden triangle” known as Grand Bas-Armagnac.  This ideal soil is made of sandy clay hillsides with an excellent south exposure, low limestone content, covered with “Sables Fauves”, a sand rich in iron oxides and marine sediment.
